The Problem
A transcript is the words and nothing else
Paste a video at Claude and the best it can do is read what was said. Not what was on screen. Not which button was clicked, or what the chart showed, or how fast the cuts were, or that the thing being demonstrated visibly failed at 4:12 while the voiceover carried on.
For a tutorial, a UI walkthrough, or a competitor teardown, that missing half IS the content.
What this does instead
It pulls the video, samples frames, and lays them out as CONTACT SHEETS: grids of stills with a timestamp printed under each one. Claude reads the sheets the way you would flip through a strip of film, and because every frame carries its own label it can cite the exact second something happened.
