Show Your Work: See Every Screenshot and Video Claude Makes, Right in Your Terminal
A free, open-source Claude Code plugin that puts the real images, test recordings and design versions your agent made straight into the chat, so you check its work without digging through folders
When Claude says "done, I fixed the button", you usually have to open the files or the browser to check. Show Your Work is a free plugin that shows you the picture instead, inside Claude Code.
Here's what it does, the two commands to install it, the catch, and a prompt to try first.
What it does
- Images: screenshots, designs, charts and generated images appear right in the chat.
- Visual QA: Claude runs Playwright browser tests, records them, and plays the before and after side by side, with clickable change markers and pass/fail checks.
- Design review: several design directions side by side, earlier versions kept in a History view, old vs new compared.
- Video: a player with playback controls, timestamped steps and version comparison; open in QuickTime or save to Downloads.
- Claude gets two new tools, show_image and show_video. You can open any file yourself with /img path/to/file.png.
