Higgsfield, the AI video platform behind a lot of the viral clips on Instagram, opened its models to other companies on September 16, 2026. The Higgsfield API puts more than 50 models behind one key, and until September 30 it gives every verified business $1 of cashback for every $1 spent on the API, up to $100,000, from a $20 million pool. Here is what it includes, how to set it up, and a plan for turning the output into distribution.

Who is behind it
Higgsfield's co-founder and CEO is Alex Mashrabov. He previously co-founded AI Factory, which Snap bought in 2020 and which became Snapchat's Cameos, and then led generative AI at Snap. On September 24 Higgsfield posted that, 18 months after launch, its annualized revenue had crossed $1 billion. That is a run rate the company reports itself, not revenue already earned. In August it raised a $400 million Series B at a $5.4 billion valuation, four times its valuation eight months earlier.
TechCrunch: Higgsfield raises $400M Series B, quadrupling its valuation in 8 months to $5.4B: https://techcrunch.com/2026/08/17/higgsfield-raises-400m-series-b-quadrupling-its-valuation-in-8-months-to-5-4b/
What the API opens up
Higgsfield's own line for it is "Build your own Higgsfield": the same models that power its app, available to your product. Four of them, the ones in the video:
| Model | Made by | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 | ByteDance | Text and image to video |
| Kling 3.0 | Kuaishou | Text and image to video |
| Soul 2 | Higgsfield | Photorealistic images |
| Genjutsu | Higgsfield | Video to video: Motion Transfer and Object Swap |
Alongside them are the Wan, MiniMax, LTX, PixVerse, Recraft, Ideogram and Grok families, and Higgsfield's Soul Cinema, DoP and Marketing Studio Image. For scale, Higgsfield's post prices a 10-second Kling 3.0 clip at $1.12.
Genjutsu is behind several of this month's most-watched AI videos on Instagram. It launched on September 1 and rebuilds a video you already have: Motion Transfer keeps the movement and camera and replaces the cast or location, and Object Swap changes one product, outfit or character and keeps the rest of the shot.
The cashback, exactly
| Term | Detail (Higgsfield's cashback page) |
|---|---|
| What you get | $1 in cashback for every $1 you pay for API usage |
| Who | Every verified business (verify a business email and add a card) |
| Cap | Up to $100,000 per business |
| Pool | $20,000,000, first come, first served; the campaign ends early if it runs out |
| Deadline | Use it by September 30, 2026, 23:59 UTC; unused cashback expires |
Cashback lands in a separate cashback balance, and it pays first: before each generation Higgsfield checks it, and if it covers the full cost it's used. Generations paid with cashback are charged at the standard price, without the current model discounts. A top-up alone doesn't earn cashback; paying for API usage does. Your main balance doesn't expire with the campaign.
