Someone released a free set of 21 Claude skills with one job: building native Mac apps. It passed 600 stars on GitHub in its first three days.

Here's what it does, how to set it up, the prompt to start your first app, and what you need on your Mac.

What it does

  • Turns your idea into a one-page app brief, then a list of features with clear 'done' checks, grouped into milestones.
  • Creates a working Mac app from a template, then builds one feature at a time, saving each one as its own step.
  • Before every save, it builds the app, snapshots every screen in light and dark mode, and runs the tests.
  • Handles the Mac parts that are hard by hand: menu bar apps, global hotkeys, floating panels, window control, screen capture.
  • Designs the look (layout, colours, dark mode) and even makes your app icon.

What you need

  • A Mac on macOS 26 or later.
  • Apple's Xcode 26 or later installed (free from the Mac App Store). Claude uses its tools; you never open it.
  • Claude Code.
