Coucou is a free, open-source app that watches Claude Code from your Mac's notch and sends its permission requests to your iPhone. What it does, the setup steps, the catches, and a prompt for Claude
Coucou is a free, open-source app that shows what your AI coding agents are doing, in your Mac's notch. Claude Code is one of the agents it supports. Its iPhone app lets you Allow or Deny Claude's permission requests from your phone.
Here's what it does, how to set it up, and the catches.
What it does
- Allow or Deny a Claude permission request from the notification, the Lock Screen or the app. Allow needs Face ID, and requests expire after 2 minutes.
- Claude's questions arrive as a notification with one button per choice.
- No account and no server: the Mac and the iPhone link through the same Apple Account in iCloud.
- The code is MIT-licensed. The site says it has no analytics and no tracking.
